After removing the timber ceilings, and forming new triangular openings we fixed kingspan between roof spars, over laid with multi-layer foil insulation, then cross battened and fixed plasterboard. To all the external walls we applied 50mm insulation boards dabbed onto render coats to existing structure. Note the arched windows: these were not square reveals and had to be set out on the splay. This is difficult enough with two-coat plasterwork but, as you can see, the time it took setting out was well worth it and has resulted in a first class finished product.
