Traditional Render, Gable End with Tyrolean Finish

Black bitumen paint covered the poor render coats. After hacking off, we applied a PVA bonding priming agent to reduce suction and help key the new render coats. We applied 3 dubbing out coats of sand/ cement/ lime render coats with the third receiving a sponge finish. The final finish was a Tyrolean texture coat applied using a compressed air splatter system.
