JD Plasterers keep up with new technologies and here's an example that has helped revolutionise exterior coatings. This contract was carried out using Wetherby Building Systems products and consist of a thin coat insulation system.
Firstly, insulation boards are mechanically fixed to the exterior of the building followed by a 4mm coat of render. Into the 1st coat a reinforcing mesh is bedded and allowed to dry. The 2nd 2mm coat is added and angle beads bedded in. Once dry a priming coat is applied to provide equal suction for the final 1.5mm silicone render coat.
