Insulated Polymer Rendering

JD Plasterers keep up with new technologies and here's an example that has helped revolutionise exterior coatings.
This contract was carried out using Wetherby Building Systems products and consist of a thin coat insulation system.
Firstly insulation boards are mechanically fixed to the exterior of the building followed by a 4mm coat of render.
Into the 1st coat a reinforcing mesh is bedded and allowed to dry.
The 2nd 2mm coat is added and angle beads bedded in.
Once dry a priming coat is applied to provide equal suction for the final 1.5mm silicone render coat.
